With 6+ years of experience working in Art galleries and exhibition spaces, I can help address the overall design, fabrication and installation of larger works. Even the more technical aspects of any artwork such as electronics or AV design are not a problem!

I am happy to help realise ideas with free initial consultations, even if the work is just at the “doodle on a napkin” phase, we can look at the viability of scale, construction, safety and budget.

I also can:

  • design and fit-out of gallery spaces as needed

  • build plinths and stages of varying quality based on budget and requirement

  • advise you on lighting design for your space

Case Study:

“Backspace” Gallery Fit-out in 2021.

With a very limited budget and extremely short lead time, we transformed the space from a former IT shop into a professional quality Gallery space.

The site presented various challenges including a lack of power or lighting for the first 2 days of work, old carpets, uneven and damaged concreting on the floor, and poorly fixed permanent walls. With a small team, we successfully built museum quality, yellow-tongue backed, plaster walls, fixed and painted out the existing walls, and ground back 5mm of concrete on the floor, sealing it with durable, odour free floor paint.

The first site visit occurred on the 22nd of October, work commenced on the 25th October was finished on the 5th November and the first show at the space opened on the 11th of November 2021.
